Master Manuel Marquez is a 6th generation student from Grandmaster Ark Wong & Master Seming Ma who are all disciples of the legendary Grandmasters of Southern Shaolin. His teachers have appeared on the cover of many magazines & Inside Kung Fu various times. Master Marquez has been learning for 30 years in these arts and is offering a more beginner Shaolin exercise forms and Combat Power Lines.
Combination exercises are an off shoot of the Traditional 5 Animals from Ark Yuey Wong. These exercises help in alignment for the following animal sets. There are 3 combination exercises to develop angles and side steps.
The Power Lines is a power play form to teach breathing exercises and endurance. This will give the student the inner strength to develop one's chi. The other part is the combat to short and quick attacks to uprooting your opponent. There are several Power Lines to move and redirect your body to avoid being attack straight on and then taking the advantage and striking your opponent and throwing him to the ground.
